have been a professional English tutor at Goodwin since 2011, and I have been learning from students as I journey along with them, finding strengths and remedying weak spots. I have taught high school English, as well as adult GED students, but my mainstay has been working as an adjunct Composition professor at Manchester Community College since 1999.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Literature with minors in sociology and anthropology. I have been tutoring college students in English and writing for 10 yrs. including college classroom experience. I am also certified in reading and writing for ESL students (TESOL). My tutoring philosophy is simple: I believe that tutoring should help and always encourage students to become independent and confident learners.
