Eligible applicants must meet the following requirements:
High school graduate or GED without a bachelor’s degree
Enrolled as at least a sophomore in a business program at a community college or a 4-year college/university
Currently taking classes towards the degree

The National Scholarship Program of the American Board of Funeral Service Education was established to provide financial awards to students enrolled in funeral service or mortuary science programs to assist them in obtaining their professional education. Established during the 1960’s the program has awarded scholarships to hundreds of students.
Scholarships are generally from $500 - $2,500 for an academic year and are applied directly to the student’s tuition charges after certification of enrollment is received from the college involved. Students may apply once per calendar year for consideration.

*For High School Seniors Pursuing a Career in Funeral Service*
The Connecticut Funeral Directors Association is committed to encouraging young people to consider a career in funeral service, to help ensure that the future includes qualified professionally educated and trained individuals to serve families and individuals. This Scholarship Award program has been established to support that commitment by providing an award of $500 in scholarship funds to three (3) graduating high school seniors want to pursue a career as a funeral director.

This Scholarship Award program has been established to support that commitment by providing funds to qualified students currently enrolled in an accredited mortuary science school, with plans to complete their education and serve the public as a funeral director in the state of Connecticut.
Every year, an award of $1,000 in scholarship funds will be presented to two (2) currently enrolled mortuary science students. Deadline: Applications must be submitted by November 1st of each year.

Awarded twice a year, the Funeral Service Foundation now offers up to 18 total scholarships, ranging from $1,000-$5,000. Scholarships are available to full- and part-time students pursuing a degree in mortuary science from ABFSE-accredited schools or, new this year, accredited Canadian schools.

The ICCFA provides a variety of scholarships to attend ICCFA educational programs through the ICCFA Educational Foundation, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charity that supports the association’s educational programs.

The Scholarship Award is up to $2,000, awarded annually. Applicants must be full-time or part-time students enrolled in an undergraduate four-year degree program who would be entering their freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior year of school.

Graduate Students enrolled in a degree program are also eligible!

Candidates should demonstrate an interest in Human Resources as their career path. Applicants must be enrolled in a Connecticut college or university.

Scholarships are available for students pursuing a degree in welding or a related discipline.

A scholarship is considered by ASME to be a grant made to a student to enable or assist the student in pursuing an educational program in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs is the foundation of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, Intl. Applications for Spring 2022 open through September 30, 2021.

The AfterCollege-AACN Scholarship Fund supports students who are seeking a baccalaureate, master’s or doctoral degree in nursing. Special consideration will be given to students in a graduate program with the goal of becoming a nurse educator; students completing an RN-to-BSN or RN-to-MSN program; and those enrolled in an accelerated program.

One scholarship in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded each quarter.

Please note that all applicants must already be enrolled (not just accepted) at an American Association of Colleges of Nursing member institution. (Goodwin College is a member.)

This is the annual F.A.Davis Nursing Scholarship. Students in AD, RN-BSN, ABSN and MSN are eligible. Must be enrolled in the current and upcoming semester. Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students are required to write an introduction and essay and submit school verification documents and unofficial transcripts.

NBNA is committed to excellence in education and conducts continuing education programs for nurses and allied health professionals throughout the year. The association provides annual scholarships for students.

Scholarships provide funding for continuing education. This funding enables nurses to grow and better contribute their talents to the health and healthcare of our communities. Please review the Scholarship Application form carefully, remember, to submit ALL required documents with your application.

The Enfield Rotary Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc., is offering the T. Tenerowicz Medical Award for $2,000 to a student who is enrolled in medical school to become a doctor, physician assistant or nurse.

There is no age limit for applicants.

Applicants who are from Enfield CT who will be entering their junior or senior year in 2024, beginning or continuing post graduate education in an accredited institution are encouraged to apply.

The application deadline is February 28, 2024. Recipients will be notified in April and the scholarships will be presented at a Rotary luncheon in June.

The fund for the E. K. Wise scholarship was established in the 1960s through the generous bequest of Elizabeth K. Wise for students pursuing an entry-level occupational therapy (OT) or occupational therapy assistant (OTA) degree. It supports students from diverse backgrounds who can meet E.K. Wise’s and AOTA’s objectives of developing a workforce to meet society’s diverse occupational needs in underserved areas or communities.

Three awards will be granted in the amount of $2,500 each.
