How to Run Reports
On the main Koha Page go to Reports
- Build new
- Step 1 of 6:
- Choose a module to report on: Circulation, cataloging, patrons, etc
- Choose report visibility: No
- Step 2 of 6: Pick a report type
- Step 3 of 6: Select columns for display
- In the left hand column choose your criteria and click add
- The options for display will vary depending on the type of report you are running (step 2)
- Click Next
- Step 4 of 6: Select criteria to limit on
- Choose the criteria
- This screen will look different depending on the type of report you want done
- Click Next
- Step 5 of 6: Pick which columns to total
- Choose the column to total
- Click next
- Step 6 of 6: Choose how you want the report ordered
- Confirm custom report
- Save your custom report
- Type in the Report Name
- Choose the report group (optional)
- It will say: Your report has been saved
- You can go to:
- Run this report
- Access this report from the: Saved reports page
- Schedule this report to run using the: Scheduler tool
- Return to: Guided reports
- Use saved
- Go to used saved
- Choose a report you want to run
- Go to the right side where it says Actions
- Click run Report
- Depending on the report you may need to add more information, but Koha will prompt you
- For example: may ask you for date ranges
- Create from SQL
- Click on Create from SQL

- Find the report you want to run
- Copy the code in the box
- Return to Koha and title your report
- Paste the code in Koha where it says: SQL:
- Click: save Report
- Click: Run this report
