Technology Recommendations

Tech at home : minimum requirements

  • laptop or desktop computer with Microsoft Office suite installed (note: directions found here)
  • high-speed internet connection (cable, DSL, or fiber) or reliable WiFi (note: mobile devices may be used as hotspots, though it is not recommended for long-term use) to support a web browser

  • webcam with microphone (either built-in or attached)

Tech at home : optional items

  • headphones (with or without microphone)
  • printer

Suggested apps for mobile use

While mobile devices are valuable resources to help you accomplish many tasks, they are not recommended for coursework.  Using a mobile device limits functionality and you may be unable to retrieve some of your course materials.
